Preferred Date & Time

Meet & Greets at Beachside Boarding

Finding the right care for your dog matters — and sometimes meeting in person makes all the difference.

Meet & Greets at Beachside Boarding are a relaxed way for dogs and their people to get comfortable, ask questions, and make sure it feels like the right fit on both sides. They’re never required, but always encouraged for pet parents who want extra confidence before booking daycare or overnight boarding.

What a Meet & Greet Includes

A Meet & Greet is designed to be low-pressure, informative, and centered around your dog.

During our time together we can:

  • Meet you and your dog in person
  • Get a sense of your dog’s personality, routines, and needs
  • Answer questions about care, scheduling, and daily life at Beachside Boarding
  • Offer an optional tour of my apartment where dogs stay
  • Discuss trial options like a day of daycare or a single overnight stay before a longer trip

These visits help everyone feel comfortable — dogs included.

Dog Assessments & Fit

I personally meet and assess every dog I care for.

This isn’t about “passing” or “failing” — it’s about making sure your dog will be safe, relaxed, and happy in my care, and that I can confidently meet their needs.

I regularly care for dogs with:

  • Special medical needs or medications
  • Senior dogs or mobility limitations
  • Anxiety, reactivity, or fear-based behaviors
  • Dogs who prefer private, low-stimulus environments
  • Dogs who do best with one-on-one attention

If your dog has unique needs, a Meet & Greet is often the best way to talk through them together.

Who Meet & Greets Are For

Meet & Greets are a great option if:

  • You’re new to Beachside Boarding
  • Your dog has special needs or behavioral considerations
  • You want to see where your dog will stay
  • You’re comparing sitters and want to find the best match
  • You’d like to try daycare or a short overnight stay before a longer booking

They’re also always available to returning clients who want to reconnect or introduce a new routine.

Not Required — Always Supported

Meet & Greets are optional, not mandatory.

Some dogs (and people) do great jumping right in. Others benefit from meeting first. Both are perfectly okay.

My goal is simple: the right fit, a happy dog, and peace of mind for you.
